Una parte della piazza del nucleo storico di Monforte, piccolo anfiteatro dall'acustica perfetta, è utilizzata come auditorium ed è intitolata al famoso pianista che vi ha tenuto il concerto d'inaugurazione nell'estate del 1986. E' sede di concerti di musica jazz, di spettacoli teatrali e di proiezioni di film nel periodo estivo.
