A Cerda il 25 Aprile c'è stata la sacra del carciofo, tutta l'economia del picccolo centro, in provincia di Palermo, si basa sulla coltivazione del carciofo a cui la popolazione ha perfino eretto un monumento, il 25 Aprile le strade di Cerda fumavano perchè ad ogni angolo qualcuno arrostiva profumati carciofi che poi venivano consumati dagli avventori, mentre la banda del paese e gruppi folcloristici sfilavano per il corso principale.
