“Mi chiamo Edison e sono in Italia da tanti anni”, mi dice questo artista di strada peruviano. “Sono cieco, vedo appena le ombre, ma riesco a muovermi e andare e venire da casa in piazza per lavorare”. Gli chiedo se ha famiglia e mi risponde: “Dopo cinque anni a Milano da solo, sono tornato in Perù e ho sposato la mia fidanzata. Sono passati dieci anni, la famiglia è cresciuta , sono nati un maschio e due bambine”. I milanesi sono molto buoni con me, spesso qualcuno mi invita a suonare da qualche parte”. Edison è contento perché mi ha detto che riesce a sbarcare il lunario e a non far mancare nulla ai suoi bambini che vanno regolarmente a scuola. La sua donna è a casa, non potrebbe lavorare con tre figli piccoli, e allora lui, non si concede mai un giorno di festa, tranne una settimana all'anno, quando lo raggiungono alcuni suoi parenti che vivono sparsi per l'Italia.
