Piazza Naqsh-e jahan chiamata di recente Meidan-e Emam ( Piazza dell'Imam) e' un luogo di notevole importanza storica e culturale che si trova nella città di Iafahan,in Iran.venne costruita tra il 1598 e il 1629,nel 1979 è stata inserita nell'elenco dei patrimoni dell'umanità dall'UNESCO.Le vaste dimensioni della piazza la rendono tra le più grandi del mondo. Misura 160 metri di larghezza e 560 metri di lunghezza.Nel suo perimetro abbiamo oltre la Moschea dello Scià o Imam, Palazzo Ali Qapu, la Moschea dello Sceicco Lotf Allah gli ingressi al bazar imperiale.
