Questa è una di quelle foto che potrebbe non dire nulla...ma se l'aveste vissuta come la sottoscritta, avreste scattato anche voi. Vigilia di Natale, corsa agli ultimi acquisti, le donne si scatenano, vista l'ora (quasi l'una)in una sorta di paghi 2 e prendi 3. C'è un gran caos, le urla dei venditori, a qualche metro di distanza, qualche ragazzino spara pedardi, gli uomini rimbrottano le donne perché sono stufi e vogliono andare a casa per il pranzo. Dall'altra parte della strada, un gruppo di gente anziana, stranamente tranquilla, chiacchiera in attesa del proprio turno, altri si scambiano gli auguri. Sto preparandomi allo scatto globale, quando sento una signora che dice all'altra: "Meno male che c'è il mercato, almeno è un'occasione per scappare fuor di casa, vedere un po' di gente e scambiare due parole. A furia di star sempre da sola in silenzio, ho perfin paura di non sapere più parlare" Mi son girata e le ho sorriso: in quelle frasi c'era tutta l'amarezza di una grande solitudine ma anche la speranza di un pizzico di socialità che, sembra strano, ma che qualcuno aspetta, fosse pure quella di un piccolo mercato di quartiere.
