Lo scoglio dell'eremita o isolotto di San Paolo Abitato un tempo forse da un pellegrino di ritorno dalla Terra Santa, qui fissò la sua residenza. Chissà, parlando un'altra lingua, neanche potè dire il suo nome ai pochi pescatori polignanesi che col mare buono approdavano allo Scoglio per portargli un pezzo di pane e un orcio di acqua. Agli occhi di tutti lo sconosciuto divenne l'Eremita. Sullo scoglio sono ancora visibili le rovine del pozzo per la raccolta dell'acqua piovana e una croce in ferro issata da missionari nel 1901 in onore di San Vito Martire, patrono di Polignano. Lo scatto è stato eseguito dall'interno della "grotta delle monache", chiamata così perche le suore dell'ex convento di San Benedetto (demolito negli anni 60) di Polignano, usavano entrarci per fare il bagno. La discesa nella grotta via terra è molto difficile e un pò pericolosa. Per questo avevo con me solo la 550D con annesso obiettivo-kit con lente "fondo di bottiglia". Come qualità dell'immagine bisogna accontentarsi. Volevo comunque proporvi questo, per me bel PDR. Commenti e critiche costruttive sono sempre benvenuti.
