Ragusa e soprattutto Ibla nei miei ricordi di ragazza era una cittadina tranquilla e poco conosciuta, mi sembra strano oggi vederla così viva e frequentata, vedere i negozietti di souvenir come nelle grandi città d'arte, i ristorantini caratteristici, le piazze piene di tavoli e gremite di gente e perfino questo trenino che percorre le vie di Ibla carico di turisti; noi da liceali scendevamo a Ibla cantando per le scale che congiungono le due cittadine e presso i giardini iblei posavamo il mangiadischi su una panchina e ballavamo come in una festa privata.
