Prima sala dell'appartamento delle Principesse consorti degli eredi al trono che fu abitato da Maria Adelaide di Asburgo, unitasi in matrimonio nel 1842 con il futuro re d'Italia Vittorio Emanuele II, e dalla Principessa di Piemonte Maria José del Belgio, sposa nel 1930 del Principe Umberto. Composto soltanto da quattro sale, l'appartamento conserva la matrice palagiana di gusto tardo neoclassico conferito per volontà di Carlo Alberto in occasione delle nozze del figlio Vittorio Emanuele. Nel soffitto a cassettoni, ornato da raffigurazioni di putti, sono ancora visibili tracce dell'antica decorazione seicentesca. Alle pareti restano dipinti di celebrazione storicodinastica commissionati da Carlo Alberto negli anni Trenta dell'Ottocento: tre opere di Massimo d'Azeglio, La Battaglia di San Quintino, Le truppe di Re Carlo Emanuele III fanno strage dei Francesi respinti dalle alture dell'Assietta, Nizza valorosamente difesa scampa dalle mani dei Francesi e dei Turchi, e una tela di Francesco Gonin con La Battaglia di Mombaldone. Gli arredi in stile Luigi XV posti al centro della sala si devono al gusto del Principe Umberto.
