Queste tre ragazze, in piazza Duomo, avevano voglia di un gelato, si son guardate intorno, hanno adocchiato un tavolino vuoto al Motta, e stavano per accomodarsi, quando un intrigante piccione, si è posato proprio lì, e ha cominciato a beccare sulla tovaglietta briciole di brioche. La reazione è stata immediata, ci hanno rinunciato e borbottando si sono allontanate. Ma la voglia di gelato era prepotente, e così si sono accontentate di prenderne uno in piedi, non senza aver prima fatto le rimostranze al cameriere. Il problema piccioni sta diventando davvero preoccupante, sono ovunque e si posano ovunque, se poi a questo si aggiunge anche l'incuria di molti gestori di bar e tavole calde, che lasciano i tavoli sporchi e li puliscono solo, quando già nuovi clienti si sono accomodati. Personalmente non sopporto questi volatili, oltretutto sono portatori di circa 60 malattie, alcune delle quali mortali, contagiose per l'uomo e per gli animali domestici, i cui agenti patogeni vengono trovati nei loro escrementi. Tra le più comuni e pericolose: Salmonellosi, Criptococcosi, Istoplasmosi, Ornitosi, Aspergillosi, Candidosi, Clamidosi, Coccidiosi, Encefalite, Tubercolosi, ecc. Gli agenti patogeni di queste malattie vengono trovati negli escrementi dei piccioni. Non è necessario il contatto diretto: il vento, gli aspiratori, i ventilatori possono trasportare la polvere infetta delle deiezioni secche negli appartamenti, nei ristoranti, negli uffici, negli ospedali, nelle scuole, ecc, contaminando gli alimenti, gli utensili da cucina. Fortunatamente, e quasi per caso, ho trovato uno spray molto efficace, innocuo per l'ambiente, basta spruzzarne un po' sui davanzali e sul balcone e se ne stanno alla larga.
