A beautiful photograph Marco, good subject floral, beautiful light and colors.
From my point of view (I express an opinion), I would try just not to use diaphragms too close especially on medium format sensors as our aps-c that extend it, the definition area but from a distance on, in macro rqavvicinate the pdc and 'minimal and almost flat, you pay duty on the quality' of detail for the diffraction (this but 'is just my personal observation since I shot preferably, with some exceptions, trying to have a high quality' detail between F8 and F11 looking if possible, good parallelism of the grid with the maf sensor and the subject) ;-).

Dal mio punto di vista (esprimo un parere), cercherei solo di non usare diaframmi troppo chiusi soprattutto su sensori medio formato come le nostre aps-c che ampliano si, l'area di definizione ma da una certa distanza in poi, nelle macro ravvicinate la pdc e' minima e quasi piatta, per cui paghi dazio sulla qualita' del dettaglio per la diffrazione (questa pero' e' solo la mia personale considerazione visto che io scatto, salvo eccezioni, intorno ad F8 e d F11 cercando se possibile, buoni parallelismi della griglia di maf col sensore e il soggetto inquadrato) .

Hello, Claudio :-P p.s., in alcuni casi Marco, una soluzione alternativa per avere tutto a fuoco (se si e' a cavalletto), potrebbe essere di provare a comporre piu' scatti con maf differenziate con la tecnica del focus stacking, l'ho provata in due o tre occasioni mirate e il risultato non e' stato affatto male anche se la fusione (almeno a me) non e' sempre riuscita .
