Nei miei giri fotografici per il centro storico di Roma, quasi sempre all'ora di pranzo, da quando sono andata in pensione, mi raggiunge qualche vecchio/a collega di Roma, e immancabilmente andiamo a mangiare in questa vecchia osteria. E' un posticino senza pretese, pochissimi tavoli all'interno, e sei nella via, ma ci andiamo da tantissimi anni, prima c'era il nonno, poi il padre, adesso il figlio, e quando capita di rivedere, quelli che il giovane, chiama “i miei vecchi”, è una festa, ci si riabbraccia con autentica gioia. Fra questi tavoli fra una matriciana e un abbacchio, abbiamo parlato di tutto, di lavoro, di vita privata, di gioie e di disgrazie. Ricordo i giorni del sequestro Moro, il nonno, ci chiedeva: “ Ragazzi che si dice nelle vostre redazioni?”. E noi, sconsolati, si rispondeva sempre allo stesso modo. Poi c'erano i giorni frenetici in cui nei dintorni, si girava qualche film, e noi eravamo lì, e all'una, si staccava e via, a tutta “matriciana”. Qualche volta, ci raggiungeva, trafelato il nostro fotografo, stanco di posteggiare il San Raffaele (poco distante), dove aveva il suo quartier generale l'onorevole Craxi e dove, spesso se ne vedevano delle “belle”. Il locale non ha mai cambiato arredamento, è rimasto immutato negli anni, è invecchiato insieme a noi, testimone insieme a noi, di quella che Maurizio Costanzo, con bella frase, dice: ….”e il resto è vita.
