Questa street l'ho fatta il mese scorso, nella via più famosa dello shopping berlinese, la Kurfurstendamm (che pare sia anche la più lunga strada dello shopping in Europa), due signore, stanche di camminare, si riposano su una provvidenziale panchina, mentre un anonimo signore, si rilassa con lo smartphone. Naturalmente, mi sono fatta beccare, sorriso di circostanza, mi sono avvicinata, e sorpresa, delle sorprese: erano italiane, e quasi per caso, proprio di Milano. Avevano anche l'hotel a due passi da lì, come la sottoscritta…e indovinate qual è stata la conclusione? Ci siamo fatte compagnia per tutti i quattro giorni a Berlino. Bella conoscenza e frequentazione che, continua anche adesso che siamo tornate nel patrio lido. A chi interessa, qualche informazione su questo vialone dello shopping Il centro della moda di Berlino Ovest è invece Kurfürstendamm, l'ampio e lungo viale che nasce all'altezza della Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtniskirche, la famosa chiesa diroccata in seguito ai bombardamenti della Seconda Guerra Mondiale, e arriva fino ad incrociare il Ring nella parte Ovest. Anche qui si trovano nel primo tratto tutte le più famose catene commerciali, a quelle di Friedrichstraße si aggiungono per esempio Mango, Bershka e Pimkie. Dopo la fermata della metropolitana: Uhlandstraße, si concentrano invece le boutique d'alta moda come Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Cartier, Saint Laurent, Burberry, Bally, Moncler e tanti altri.
