Una foto bruttina di un evento eccezionale: il grande freddo del gennaio del 1985 che arrivò a ghiacciare persino l'Adige. Quell'anno attorno all'Epifania ci fu un'abbondante nevicata e poi improvvisamente arrivò il freddo polare con temperature minime che segnarono fino a -23° in Pianura Padana per 12/13 giorni consecutivi. L'Adige, che a Rovigo non è proprio un ruscello, come detto ghiacciò. Fu un evento straordinario e spettacolare, poiché fu l'unica volta, a memoria d'uomo, che successe. Nella foto il ponte stradale di Boara che collega le province di Padova e Rovigo e sotto la gente, che in barba ai divieti sindacali, incoscientemente cammina sull'Adige ghiacciato.
