Dal vivo si vedeva veramente poco, c'era molto buio...non buio completo perchè comunque c'era la luna e la luce delle nuvole, ma neppure lontanamente paragonabile alla luminosità di questa foto.
Una piccola riflessione: il RAW di questa foto, anche con zero elaborazione, è molto più distante dalla realtà (per via dell'esposizione lunghissima) di quanto lo siano tante foto che ho elaborato in modo "spinto".
Live you could see very little, it was very dark ... not complete darkness, however, because the moon was out and the light clouds, but not even remotely comparable to the brightness of this photo.
A little thought: the RAW of this photo, with zero processing is much more distant from reality (due to long exposure) than they have so many pictures that I have developed in a "pushed". Juza non so se è già stato detto ma: hai scattato in manuale o in priorità diaframmi? se hai usato priorità diaframmi ha calcolato la macchina i 143" oppure sei andato tu ad occhio?
sembra una domanda stupida ma in effetti non ho mai fatto lunghe esposizioni se non sotto i 30".. come si è comportato l'esposimetro?

Ho scattato in B (bulb), sulle Canon è un'opzione a sè stante, comunque è un pò come se fosse un manuale...
In queste situazioni l'esposimetro non è utilizzabile e l'unica è andare a tentativi.

Be che dire, oltre la bellezza della fotografia, si imparano tante cose dalle tue risposte sempre precise e tecnicamente chiare. Guardando le tue fotografie , capisco cosa voleva dire un mio vecchio amico fotografo ,...quando imparerai a fotografare la luce , sarai sulla buona strada .
