ciao Keith. Keith Emerson, 2 novembre 1944, 10 Marzo 2016

Below the photo I find out how many things in common: peers, lovers of that seventies music,
Rock-progressive from ELP to various genres, Pink Floyd, Van Der Graaf, King Crimson, Yes, Jethro Tull, Gentle Giant not to miss the BMS and the PFM in Italy The passion for piano and keyboards with bands, to play In the basements. How many memories and how much nostalgia, with that picture and with your memory of the great Keith.
Hi, Charles sympathy

Hi Carlo, it is with great pleasure and equanimity that I read and appreciate your comment!
I thank you heartily for your words, I share your passage, especially the point of playing among friends in the basements, a passion never fit ....
A hug, good sunday!

I've read all the comments and I've been tight on the beautiful words, but ... I feel a lot lucky ... I got to know both Emerson and Lake and Palmer since the era of synthesizer management Moog.
A myth, a dream to see him playing a few inches from his keyboard and hands.
Still today for me it has been and will replace 'the greatest keyboard player of all time.
A hug
Paul

Hi Paul!
I've never been lucky enough to see them live, in these years I've known and seen a dozen times (abundant) his "alter ego" Jordan Rudess, his great friend and "master" .... his tribute to Great Keith made me tears come, love me .....
Thank you very much for your comment, I am very happy to know that it was loved, artistically, by many friends here .....
A hug, see you soon!

I saw them in Milan, I had 16 (there for now) years at Vigorelli. A sea of ??people.
They made "picture and exhibition", fashionable in those days. The Moog was crazy.
If you think about it, a four-key keyboard today ....... ;-)
But let's go back to the picture: congratulations on the ability to know how to fade in the light, putting the "flou" or something like that.
Nice lecture, I do not struggle to read the music, so ..
A greeting

PS- I come from a stroke ... So if a message is incorrect, please apologize.
I got 20 minutes to write

Rominaaaa!
but what a nice appreciation!
eh, I'm still in "mourning" for the loss of my idol ..... and almost two years have passed .....
the attached caption explains quite well how I was bound (musically speaking) to the great Keith, I will never understand his gesture, rationally, but artistically instead .... :-(
a special thank you, dear friend, I'll be waiting for you soon ...

True Mario from the caption shows all your affection for this artist. I imagined you as a child with your father in the music store ... an image of other times ... now I think it's really a rarity such a situation! Children find them in video game shops rather, where they are sold mostly games that dispense violence! I have said it many times and I repeat it ... humanity has lost so much with what they call evolution!
Good Sunday dear friend ... see you soon
Romina

what to say, Romy .... we will notice in a few years how much ruin has created the evolution .....
the new generation has no value, no respect for those who have some experience ...
a hug, happy Sunday to you too!
ciauuuss!
