Max looks Ale have flash .. But
Allergic to fill-flash :) says hurts the retina ... :) :)
Max still agree with Ale, in addition with the flash would have distracted the subject and missed what the picture conveys
My opinion ..

Canopus,
of course I respect everything and everyone and respect the way to take pictures of each no, sopratotto Alexander I admire very much!
And our 'just a different way of seeing and "feel" things.
In my opinion, often, a tap of flash (like in this situation) could solve the problem of backlight and in most of 'a touch of theatricality that value added (my personal opinion). I do not agree that the flash would distract the subject and did lose naturalness to the image because although the monaco had turned to look at Alex after the flash, the photo would've still imprinted on the sensor. The human reaction time and 'definitely slower than 1/1250 of a second (the value of the photo in question). I agree with that but would have disturbed the serenity and tranquility of monaco and dunque would break the spell in which the monaco seems immersed. So you are right both you and Alex. I understand that technically I said the right thing humanly but I said bullshit. So I apologize!
A hug to both.
Max

Max the flash attached to the SLR even if used at least underexposing recovery tends to flatten the scene .. We should use it separated from the body with everything that goes with it ...
This from the point of view of the recovery ..
For the rest of you answered correctly in certain situations you feel immersed in those environments and you almost fear in romperne certain balances with your presence

Canopo70,
you are right in "todo". I in fact I often harbor traveling a cable which enables me to hold the flash at a distance of 60-70 centimeters from the machine and at a height different to the objective. Just to avoid the phenomenon of flattening of the scene. But then in other situations where the flattening there is good, kind classic portrait, use the flash directly connected to the machine.
But to be honest when I can avoid it, I avoid.
Max

6igrave; it is ... travel photography should be, in my view, a bit 'rude ... and not by photographic set. The skill is to use the cameras in there and pull off good shots pp.

Journey into mysticism, I would say!
Complimentissimi !!!

I do not agree on using the flash!
He would certainly disturbed monaco and broken mystical aura that permeated the room ...

Superb.
If possible, I understand the study / technique behind a picture like where have you exposed? on the sky as seen perfectly? have cleared something in pp (type sides of the wall and his face turned toward you)? just to see and study what's behind.
Thanks in advance to anyone who wanted to explain.
Hello to all.

Really very beautiful, just that it seems that there was an intervention on monaco, such as a light on the shadows with the brush that makes the picture look like a little fake, or maybe it's just an impression.
