Si tratta di un particolare del monastero del profeta Elia che si trova nel villaggio di Pirgos, sul punto più alto dell'Isola di Santorini. Tale Monastero è stato costruito all'inizio del XVIII secolo, si tratta di un esempio di arte bizantina. ..al termine della funzione e celebrazione per la Festa del profeta Elia... Un sacerdote, spegneva con un attrezzo le candele del lampadario posto al centro dell'edificio religioso. ...sono entrato ..era tutto in silenzio, la luce che entrava dalla finestra, si percepiva il caldo tepore della stessa, il fumo che si mescolava con la luce ed il profumo dell'incenso ancora era nell'aria.
