Great light management, lights and shadows are splendid. Beautiful atmosphere. I also like the small detail, that the squares in the sign on the left goes in the same line as mans back (hope a very good translation). Very beautiful b/w.  |

È spettacolare il viraggio in low key, con le luci a disegnare i profili delle volte e pochi riflessi sulle panche. Avrebbe avuto una forza comunicativa devastante se solo il soggetto, anziché in piedi, fosse stato seduto, assorto in preghiera. Mi sa che avrei dovuto citarti per l'ispirazione nel penultimo scatto che ho postato, anche se nel mio caso l'occasione è stata fortuita e l'intento non era (in origine) quello di scattare in chiesa. Ma poi, mentre inquadravo, debbo dire che mi è venuta in mente proprio questa foto!
It's spectacular color change in low key, with the lights to draw the outlines of the times and a few reflections on the benches. Would have had a devastating communicative power if only the subject, rather than standing, had been sitting, absorbed in prayer. I guess I would have to cite you for the inspiration in the penultimate shot I posted, although in my case the opportunity was fortuitous and the intent was not (originally) to take to church.
