Il mio è nato per pellicola ma è comunque autofocus (un po lento), se chiuso a f8 su soggetti entro i 10 metri è nitidssimo, ma se cala la luce e devi aprire o allungare i tempi, fra nitidezza e micromosso si perde parecchio.
Non ho esperienza sulle lenti f8 che citi, però non ne ho mai sentito parlare bene, potrebbe essere interessante il 300 f 5.6

...ed altri (ma a che distanza eri dai soggetti in quegli scatti nitidissimi ?! ) mentre ho notato una forte perdita di nitidezza in molte altre fatte...presumo..da piu' lontano 
e non mi ha colpito particolarmente quella alla Luna
