Le Palle di Mozart sono state inventate nel 1890 dal pasticciere di Salisburgo Paul Fùrst in onore del compositore Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, a quasi un secolo dalla sua scomparsa. Inizialmente si chiavano "Mozart-Bombon", ma intorno al 1900 il nome cambiò in " Mozartkugeln", Palle di Mozart ::))
