Stunning photo Simone .. congratulations! Wow!
I think in this case you did the best you could do everything .. at least "two-dimensional"! :-D ;-) .. for other sensations, at least for the time being, you'll have to "settle" for having lived before you in person! ;-)
Hello! :-)

Hello max
I'm glad you enjoyed
Peccatosolo the snow is not perfect left .....

yes I know, unfortunately, as I responded to beppeverge, I tried them all really, the direction of the moon forced me frame, but the diagonal ridge in the foreground are not able to insert it as I wanted, then in the footsteps of those who had passed before me have certainly disturbed the shot .. patience, I believe however that the eye goes somewhere else .. I hope :-(

thanks for visiting

@ Federico
detail absurd! techniques used?

Nikon D700, Nikon AF-S 14-24mm f/2.8 G ED enough for you! :-D:-D:-D

keep in mind, and in my opinion this is what makes the difference I shot at 200 ISO, the more detail than that!

then in post pastrocchiate honestly do not remember all that I did, surely the tonal levels on the front wall of the mountain trying to bring out the light parts even though there was no need so given the significant brightness luna.quasi always especially on snow do one pass of detail extractor Color Efex combined with the glow too marcatoi to counter the effect of the first filter, I applied a color filter 80-10% to cool the scene, but not in the sky and then as always a cure qlmost Manic sharp after resizing for the web.
I hope I was sufficiently exhaustive
thanks for the compliment

2sbagliato ", even if the timing was right.
Take my words, not as a criticism but as a reflection of what is in my view is the task of a good landscape photographer (very daunting task and if we are ambitious), that as a good craftsman, not only needs a good raw material and excellent tools, but to have a quality product, you should try first of all within himself that something extra that is able to make its products unique craft ... but above all else we are large market with the usual products which as we all know people like them so much even though in reality the average quality is low:-D
In this photo we see a good quality product ;-), but with such a situation I personally roderebbe and not a little of the risk of going tooonly for error on the shelves of a major supermarket:-D
I've had this conversation because I know that I can understand and I hope I explained myself without misunderstandings :-)
