Chi mi conosce sa quanto ami l' India e soprattutto gli indiani che considero gente umanamente straordinaria e di questo ne ho avuto mille riprove. Però è anche vero che l' India è piena di mille contraddizioni?.e di storie terribili! L' ultimo giorno, poco prima di partire, dopo la bellissima visita ad un tempio Sikh ne abbiamo avuto una prova terribile !! che ancora oggi mi fa star male..... Ogni giorno in una zona attigua al tempio viene cucinato cibo per 10.000 persone che possono mangiare gratuitamente e così, oltre ai fedeli, si raduna una massa miserabili fatta di mendicanti, ciechi e storpi. Prima di salire sul pullman ho notato una donna con suo figlio che si copriva il volto e che aveva una mano ed un braccio fasciato.. non ho capito subito ma quando mi sono avvicinato la visione è stata terribile !! Era una donna vittima di un atrocità assurda !! metà del suo volto e del suo corpo era stato sciolto dall' acido!!!!!!!!!! Un modo abominevole di cui talvolta rimangono vittime le donne molto spesso per mano del marito o di un pretendente rifiutato! E' stato un pugno nello stomaco che ancora fatico a digerire.... Inizialmente pensavo di non farlo ma poi ho deciso di impugnare la macchina fotografica e documentare
