@Federico: ero in Argentina per motivi di lavoro e nel week-end ho sfidato la fortuna recandomi nella penisola di Valdes dove all'ultimo giorno, poco prima di recarmi in aeroporto, abbiamo avvistato le due orche avvicinarsi alla spiaggia (per poco non perdevo l'aereo). Ero già stato in precedenza a Punta Norte durante una vacanza ma nel periodo sbagliato.

@ Federico: I was in Argentina for work and on the weekend I challenged your luck by going to the Peninsula Valdes where the last day, just before going to the airport, we spotted the two killer whales closer to the beach (almost losing the plane). I had been earlier in Punta Norte during a vacation but at the wrong time. Grazie a tutti!

Adoro le orche, le ho sempre trovate splendide e intelligenti nel modo di cacciare. Ma allo stesso tempo sono delle feroci cacciatrici e il momento che sei riuscito a cogliere descrive ottimamente la loro natura.

questa foto l'hai scattata nella stagione 2011? ...se è così è l'ultimo anno in cui si è visto Mel (questo grande maschio) cacciare a Punta Norte, da allora, non si hanno più sue notizie... purtroppo.
