Complimenti.

I really like how you handled the exposure, underexposure, with an expert that has saturated the colors but, above all, the isolated leaf. Compliments.

@Paolo

@Gianmarco

@Fulvio
Ciao Fulvio!

Michela

@ Paul
Paul thank you very much for your constant attention and for your comments detailed and always sincere. I can therefore only be happy that you enjoyed this shot! :-P
PS: .... it was time to change the profile photo in the neck .... I had the Canon:-D

@ Gianmarco
.... but I used the clip and not the fishing line! :-D
Seriously, passion and commitment and patience I'm sure will reward you too! The qualities you have them all ;-)

@ Fulvio
Hello Fulvio!
I made several shots also underexpose to compensate for the dark background and to try to bring out in a more net shadows. I'm glad you liked the result :-) Thanks!

To you tutyou a warm greeting and good evening!

Brava.
Ciao, Mauro.

I state that I love especially the photos with totally black background, in this case I find it very successful and impact the strong chromatic contrast with the warm tones of red leaf, but the real gem are the reflections below.
I think it's amazing how you can handle the light with the resources you have. Brava.
Hello, Mauro.

Bho! this time I honestly feel displaced or are short d 'imagination .. I see ... imho .. an excellent shot is handled well as light, variegated colors on the red, maf, etc. ........ of a leaf .... poetic ... forgive me I can not seize the key, perhaps adding a description of the author could help me ... which I greet with affection ... hope you forgive me of my momentary blindness :-) 8-) Francis

@Mauro

@Francesco (Di)

Michela

you have been very kind to leave your nice comments on my photos and thank you very much! :-):-P

@ Mauro
but the real gem are the reflections down

I am very pleased .... you've noticed this particular that I intentionally sought.
To achieve this I used as a base an old mobile lacquered wood from the floor uneven whose semi-gloss surface allowed me to get, in fact, the reflections. ;-)
I think it's amazing how you can handle the light with the resources you have.

The management of the lights for me & especiaand, always a challenge:-D but, sometimes, even a satisfaction.

@ Francesco (Di)
I see ... imho .. an excellent shot is handled well as light, variegated colors on the red, maf, etc. ........ of a leaf .... poetic ... forgive me I can not grasp the key

Dear Francesco, there is nothing that I should forgive you! Wow! You did not say anything strange!
By itself, the still life genre was born as a representation of cd images of "still life" that, for the most part, certainly not meant to communicate a particular "interpretation".
Are often a representation of ... aesthetics.
If you are in "En rouge" see only a nice shot (thanks!) that's okay, there is nothing wrong withwhat.
View a leaf and nothing else. Honestly, I am in my shot I saw something more. This subject, just a leaf in autumn, for me represents the transience of time, seasons and, symbolically, the complement of the life cycle. I wanted to portray the splendor of its red glow bringing out its beauty color thanks to the light, as if to say that, despite this leaf is doomed to disappear, something survives, is renewed and transformed. Well have taken this expressive intention is Titian (Splibo) that Flavio (Flaber70).
But what remains solely a subjective reading and therefore I do not take any "blindness" on your part. ;-):-P

To all of you a dear and grateful greeting!
Michela

Bravissima Eeeek!!!

I like to be lost in the dark and the combination of autumn colors in the background. Wow very good!

Molto bello e curato questo still life.
Brava Miki!
Lulù

Very nice and cared for this still life. I agree with the choice of the black background that has more three-dimensionality to the leaf.
Miki Brava!

Michael, I love this photo of the management of light and shade as well as the contrast between the autumnal red and dark black background. :-)
