From my ignorance I believe that 1/4000 is enough to freeze even moving subjects. This then is also static.

Perchè 1/16000 è un errore e grazie per avermelo fatto notare.... 
La Mark IV non arriva nemmeno a quel tempo, massimo arriva a un 8000sec., nei dati c'è uno ZERO di più 
Inoltre lavoro in Manuale con gli Iso Auto, mi scelgo il tempo e il diaframma, gli Iso li imposta la fotocamera...
In quanto alla staticità del soggetto e al tempo scelto, potrai essere in disaccordo ma i tempi che imposto, sono studiati per non avere micromosso (per le focali utilizzate...) e magari trovarmi pronto ad un eventuale scatto, partenza o tuffo del soggetto
Ora correggo il sedicimila in milleseicento...

Why 1/16000 is a mistake and thanks for letting me know .... :-)
The Mark IV does not even at the time, comes to a maximum 8000sec., In the data there is a ZERO more ;-)
I also work in Manual with Auto ISO, I choose the time and the aperture, the camera sets the ISO them ...
As to the static nature of the subject and the time taken, you'll be in disagreement but the times that imposed, are designed to not have mecromosso (used for focal ...) and maybe find me ready for a possible shot, or dive out of the subject ;-)
Now I correct in the sixteen thousand six hundred ... :-D
