Sono ritornato a distanza di qualche anno su questo circoscritto sito dove prospera indisturbata la Fritillaria alpina. La notizia positiva sta nel fatto che nel frattempo il numero delle piante si è espanso e si è generata una nuova colonia a distanza di pochi metri. La Fritillaria alpina è una Liliacea, che come le congeneri, per la sua rarità e bellezza, è specie in imminente pericolo di estinzione ed è stata posta ovunque, in tutte le regioni d'Italia, sotto protezione assoluta con divieto di raccolta e con obbligo di contribuire alla sua conservazione.
