Il titolo, qui , ha una duplice valenza: da un lato si riferisce a ciò che evoca la vista dall'alto di questo isolotto, dall'altro richiama il fatto (e questo non lo potete sapere) che esso si trova nel mezzo di una cava di sabbia nella golena del Po, scavata appunto dall'uomo con le scavatrici meccaniche ("caterpillar")... ;-) In volo attorno all'isola tantissime garzette, guardabuoi e gabbiani di fiume! Scattata dopo il tramonto.
