L'uomo di un tempo che viveva in case costruite con una tipologia di tetto che dava la possibilità di nidificare ai passeri e non solo, ora le case moderne non danno più questa possibilità, ne hanno parlato anche su un programma in TV. Poi l'agricoltura intensiva ha fatto il resto. In pratica i passeri non hanno la possibilità di trovare da nidificare tra le case moderne, idem per i grandi gelsi che purtroppo sono stati abbattuti, poi c'è il fattore del grande caldo estivo che a giugno i +40 gradi fanno morire di caldo i nidiacei, poi si sono aggiunte anche in questi ultimi anni varie malattie in special modo l'aviaria, in pratica resta gran poco e questo vale per molte altre specie non invasive di volatili.
