Il Monastero di Katskhi è una chiesa ortodossa georgiana situata su un pilastro di roccia calcareo alto 40 metri ed è soprannominata "la chiesa più isolata del mondo". Nel sito vive oggi un solo eremita, Maxime Qavtaradze, che utilizza una vecchia e pericolosa la scala metallica quando scende per rifornirsi di cibo che viene poi sollevato tramite un sistema di carrucole.
