Grazie alle “Giornate d'Autunno” del FAI son riuscito a visitare il Teatro Sociale Eugenio Balzan di Badia Polesine denominato a ragione “La piccola Fenice” per la somiglianza in miniatura con il grande teatro veneziano, un vero e proprio gioiellino artistico. Nato nel 1812, impreziosito da fregi, decorazioni e affreschi che evocano poesia, musica e danza. Dopo un periodo di chiusura e declino, il teatro ha conosciuto una rinascita nel 2011, tornando a vivere l'antico splendore. L'apertura e la descrizione del teatro per il FAI sono state curate dagli apprendisti ciceroni dell'Istituto Primo Levi di Badia Polesine.
