Thank you Agata, I'm glad you appreciated my photographic proposal and the related caption. Cars that have had little diffusion in Europe, it is not easy to meet them, on a boat, then... a surprise within the surprise ;-)
Thank you for your passby, a warm greeting

I did not know of the existence of this strange little car, truly singular.
Congratulations for the discovery and for the nice image.

But yes, I remember it, even though I was a child. In the same period, an "amphibized" beetle (an inelegant neologism) was also built, which managed to cross the Strait twice.
Great photos and caption, good evening Sergio.

Thank you Roberto, I'm glad you liked this proposal of mine. I knew this car, but finding it on board a boat was a surprise, even if it has its own reason
Thank you very much also for the welcome compliments

Thank you Paolo. Yes, I have also written about the "Beetle" which in one of its many transformations was also "amphibized" and with which the crossing of the Strait of Messina was completed. Years in which the desire for automotive challenges was more in vogue. Years in which the car possessed a romantic and adventurous charm that it has now lost, relegated to a role more similar to that of an appliance. Thank you very much for your passage and glad for your appreciation of the S.
