Questa imponente costruzione è stata realizzata per ospitare l' edizione della China Flower Expo che si è tenuta nella città internazionale dei giardini di Changzhou, Jiangsu, il 28 settembre 2013; ogni giorno era visitata da oltre 100.000 visitatori. Terminato l'evento è rimasta inutilizzata sino al 2020 quando in occasione del Covid 19 è stata riconvertita in ospedale rifugio da 1.500 posti letto in soli 10 giorni dotato di tutte le più moderne apparecchiature . Al primo sguardo l'ho scambiata per un grande stadio, seppure con la forma di farfalla, è dotata di un lussuoso hotel e allo stato attuale, quando l'ho visto un paio di mesi fa, era in completo abbandono: un'altra cattedrale nel deserto vista lago.
