Carcassonne è una spettacolare cittadella fortificata medievale che sembra uscita da un libro di favole, con una doppia cinta muraria, 4 porte e 52 torri. Situata nel sud della Francia, non lontano dalla Spagna, Carcassonne seduce i visitatori con la sua anima medievale e il suo aspetto che sembra congelato nel tempo. Carcassonne è una delle cinque città più turistiche della Francia e deve la sua fama globale alla natura straordinaria del suo patrimonio storico. Con due siti inscritti nella lista UNESCO, la città medievale e il Canal du Midi, Carcassonne affascina e incanta con i suoi bastioni medievali, le sue cinta murarie e le sue torri perfettamente conservate.
