Sa Carrela e 'nanti è una spettacolare corsa a cavallo che si svolge per le strette vie del quartiere di Biadorru a Santu Lussurgiu, vere e proprie prove di abilità per i cavalieri impegnati in questa giostra tipica del carnevale. Pariglie di due o tre cavalieri che si tengono il braccio a vicenda si lanciano al galoppo tra viottioli, strettoie, curve, discese e risalite per una cavalcata che richiede grande coraggio e che viene svolta con la massima eleganza e compostezza malgrado l'alta velocità. Il pubblico assiste alla corsa nei pochi tratti favorevoli, e spesso è costretto ad appiattirsi contro i portoni e dentro le case rischiando di farsi travolgere dai cavalli lanciati al galoppo.
