Quando si descrivono scene come questa è facile abusare di aggettivi altisonanti, ma la verità è che potersi avvicinare al fronte lavico è una emozione davvero indescrivibile. È bene però non sottovalutare mai potenziali rischi dovuti in primis dalla presenza della neve che intrappolata dalla lava evapora all'istante e i gas prodotti possono accumularsi all'interno del fronte lavico e in determinate circostanze portare ad improvvise 'sgasate' ed esplosioni che scagliano materiale rovente (parliamo di circa 1.000 gradi) tutto intorno. È successo nel 2017 e in quella circostanza ci furono parecchi feriti; è avvenuto anche per questa attività dell'Etna ma fortunatamente un episodio decisamente più circoscritto e meno energetico. Quindi è sacrosanto godersi questi momenti, ma sempre con la testa sulle spalle :-) Come sempre, per chi fosse interessato, lascio come primo commento il video.
