Two Jack Lake, Banff National Park (Alberta, Canada). Ultimissime luci del crepuscolo, spinte dalla post volutamente eccessiva, per sperimentare tecniche per me inusuali.

Great location. The mirror effect is beautiful. The sunset goes very well with the silhouette of the trees and mountains.

I don't find the lights or the colors it carries excessive. A very beautiful photograph for me, and not only.

How are you getting on with the new setup?
I'm still on a mirrorless/reflex "hybrid" kit.
Canon Eos R
Sigma EF 14 1.8
Canon EF 16-35
Canon RF 100-500 (recently taken and it's literally scary)
By the way I saw that you had also used the Sigma 14, how did you find it? I got it specifically to go photographing the stars in Namibia in July :)

Hi Andrea. I am now with R52, 14f1.8, 14-35, 24-105f4, 100-500. I'm still learning how to use the R52, but I find it fabulous that I instantly lock on to my subjects' eyes. Instead of the 100 500 I still can't tell you anything because it arrived defective (thank goodness I got it from an official dealer). The 100 500 is currently boxed on my desk waiting for Canon to authorize the exchange with another completely new example.

Damn, good luck for the 100-500 .. if nothing else, thank goodness that it is under warranty and taken from an official dealer. You'll see that speed of autofocus and sharpness. I'm finding it crazy, even if a hair heavier than my old 70-200 f4.
I'm glad you also kept the sigma 14 1.8, which makes me think it remains one of the gold standards for stars/northern lights. It weighs a lot, but amen ;)
Of the 14-35 and 24-105 f4 what can you tell me instead? Any regrets, or just positive things?

14-35 and 24-105 f4 in my opinion are excellent. 14f1.8 is truly something irreplaceable for Canon owners.
