Glories of the Past sent on January 21, 2025 (0:06) by Claudio Ricci. 84 comments, 1243 views. [retina]

at 68mm, 1/25 f/9.0, ISO 2000, hand held.

Considering the shutter speed and the free hand I would say that a good job came out.

Thank you! I practically always shoot handheld, and here the stabilization had to do a minimal job: one stop and something. If I couldn't shoot with reliable success at 1/25 at 68 mm, it would mean that both the stabilizer of the camera and that of the lens are defective (between both they cover 3-4 stops). We are certainly not at the levels of the OM-1, but this camera compensates for everything with its exceptional (notorious) performance at high ISO (and even here, 2000 is business as usual). If I had taken at 1/50 iso 4000, the photo would have come out identical.

The doilies refer to another time. Nice shot Claudio.

Thank you! I think they are objects (I haven't figured out if it's silver) from a couple of centuries ago.
