LEGGENDA
Il crocifisso sospeso gode di una particolare venerazione: la leggenda narra che un tiratore lo usò come bersaglio per fare esercitazione prima di un torneo, trapassandolo da parte a parte.
Il suo premio fu un toro che si portò a casa. Quando i due passarono davanti al crocifisso il toro uccise il tiratore, che in questo modo fu punito per quanto aveva fatto.
LA ROCCIA
Le imponenti rocce circostanti dovevano proteggere la chiesa dalle valanghe.
Una stretta spaccatura in queste rocce venne utilizzata come strumento di espiazione: chi passava attraverso di essa strisciando contro la parete rocciosa lasciava su di questa i propri peccati, liberandosene.
