Laguna glaciale più piccola rispetto alla più famosa laguna di Jokulsárlon, ma non per questo meno affascinante. Anzi, il fatto di essere meno "famosa" la rende più intima e meno battuta dai turisti, donandole un'aura quasi magica. Il ghiacciaio che arriva sul lago è comunque imponente, come si può notare dalle tre imbarcazioni (tre piccoli puntini neri) che si intravedono.
