A farla breve delle casette nido mi interessa la funzionalità. In questo click una femmina di codirosso spazzacamino sta entrando in velocità nella casetta per costruire la parte finale del nido che è formata da peli, piume e quant'altro, come si vede, anche filamenti di canapa che ho perso nel cortile di casa, il tutto per dare calore ai piccoli che nasceranno. Purtroppo nelle ultime primavere gran pochi giovani riescono a vivere perché all'involo, cornacchie e gazze ladre, puntualmente sono al posto giusto al momento giusto compiendo quel che è una carneficina. A non bastare quest'anno (2024) si è aggiunto un nuovo predatore, l'averla piccola, che si è presentata all'involo dei giovani di questa nidiata e gli ha uccisi tutti, compiendo l' azione nel cortile di casa senza alcun timore dell'uomo. Momenti che mi hanno lasciato l'amaro in bocca.... . Un caro saluto. Ciao.
