at 135mm, 1/1250 f/5.6, ISO 3200, hand held. Val d'Orcia, Italy.

Hi Claudio, I find this image really beautiful. You did a really good job to 'recover' the shot, it's obvious.
I fully agree with what Elisabetta wrote, I too read a sharp contrast (just like in the image) between the sky so dark that looms and threatens, and the quiet and soft earth, which has a velvet feel, and the cottage, still illuminated by the sun, which suggest serenity.
There is a beautiful story in this photograph.
Best regards,
Marcello

I read with great pleasure the genesis of the "busted shot" and your painstaking recovery work if we can call it that.
I too sometimes make this sort of attempt, or rather I find myself in the middle of it almost without realizing it.
The Expose to the right as you say, in the end we leave it to the purists if this is the result that is truly remarkable.
In Val D'orcia even more so where color is often the absolute protagonist.

The Alby
Marcello (curious is the fact that while I was doing it I was "with an empty mind", as often happens to me, without thinking about possible particular stories, which in any case can come "a posteriori").

The contrast between the leaden sky and the ploughed ground is remarkable. Excellent work of "recovery" in an excellent b/
