Mi hanno sempre insegnato che se in cielo vedi nuvoloni neri da tempesta, pioggia e qua in la qualche squarcio di azzurro devi correre subito fuori perché da un momento all'altro salta fuori sua maestà l'arcobaleno! Ed è quello che è successo lunedi 5 Agosto… Mi ero appena alzato all'alba nel mio cottage di Keswick quando mi sono affacciato in giardino ed ho visto un tempo da lupi; pioggia e nuvoloni neri da paura e qualche buco di azzurro. Non ci ho pensato due volte ed a corsa sono salito in macchina per raggiungere un bel punto panoramico sopra il lago: Surprise wiev. Devo dire che non è proprio vicinissimo al mio cottage, circa 10 minuti di auto con stradine strettissime ed impervie. Appena sono arrivato sono stato accolto a mia insaputa da sua maestà nel suo splendore! Non è stato facile fotografarlo dato le brutte condizioni meteo e logistiche. Siamo su un promontorio a picco con rocce scivolose e sotto delle bellissime querce che gocciolavano acqua a più non posso, tra l'altro la valle era piena di foschie e il sole faceva un leggero capolino tra le nuvole. Impresa difficilissima, ma spero che riusciate a percepire questa spettacolare atmosfera che ho vissuto in solitaria quassù. E poi il magico arcobaleno è durato tantissimo! È il terzo punto fotografico che vi propongo sopra il Dervenwater. Buona visione.
