Castello costruito su un'isola, a breve distanza dalla costa, Il castello si trova nella contea di Argyll, nella parte occidentale del paese,non lontano da Oban. Il piccolo maniero è circondato dalle Highlands ed ha l'aspetto di una torre d'avvistamento. E' proprietà privata e visitabile solo su prenotazione .Non è facile avvicinarsi anche se dal parcheggio c'è una brevissima passeggiata che permette di arrivare un po' più vicino, se non ha piovuto troppo e se non c'è alta marea. Purtroppo quando sono arrivata io la stradina che si avvicinava era chiusa, fangosa e non percorribile e solo in punta di piedi, tra i cespugli ho quasi rubato questo scatto invidiando il proprietario. Castle Stalker si è guadagnato un posto nella cultura popolare con un'apparizione nel film commedia del 1975 Monty Python e il Sacro Graal . E' mostrato nella scena finale come "The Castle of Aaaaarrrrrrggghhh".
