, 1/200 f/8.0, ISO 100, hand held. Benevento, Italy.

A work of art and engineering from the Roman era that has come down to us today, and we are unable to build bridges that last over time :-/
Excellent historical work.

Unknown but really beautiful.
It's a good thing that some far-sighted councillor for city smoothness has banned the passage of wheeled vehicles and not only to preserve the structure.
And anyway let's face it, Goths, Visigoths and earthquakes but the Roman bridge is still there...
Any reference to bridges and constructions from the post-war period onwards is purely deliberate,
Massimo
