Qui ci troviamo nella zona dell'Irpinia, territorio squassato dal terremoto. In particolare si ricorda Balvano, qui giovanissime vite furono spezzate all'interno della chiesa del Paese, dove si erano radunate per la funzione religiosa. Era Domenica 23 Novembre del 1980 Quest'albero pare muto testimone dell'immane tragedia dell'uomo.
