The tragedy of a human being shown explicitly, drastically, depressingly;
the more this is reality 2020's in Europe.
I cannot look at such images being witnesses of the ignominy and disgrace -of till now- our civilization,
for me too much to stand it.
I do remember old persons with numbers printed on their forehands.
As being born in Warsaw 10 years after WW2 I have looked at these persons since 1960 s, in Warsaw trams, along streets, till ca 1990.
Now they all passed away;
they survived concentration camps, mainly Auschwitz. Their eyes were sad and snuffed out.

Hi Joachin, I'm sorry if this photo brought back very painful memories, it was certainly not my intention. Surely this moment has nothing in common with the tragedy of the concentration camps. Tattooing (a practice with ancient origins), is now a strictly individual choice, for various and always very subjective reasons... (to beautify oneself, communicate, belong to a group, to exorcise fears or to mark a moment of change in one's life...) in any case, a form of non-verbal communication that is freely chosen by those who wish it.
Sorry again if this photo of mine disturbed you. Greetings, francesca
