The Last Light sent on January 22, 2024 (14:49) by Claudio Ricci. 58 comments, 1502 views. [retina]

at 40mm, 1/6 f/2.8, ISO 10000, hand held. Calcata, Italy.

Calcata (Vt).

A super-evocative shot with the first lights of the houses, streets and square and the last lights of the sky with fabulous colors: congratulations.

Thank you! I wasn't even sure it would make it because the conditions were really limiting, and it wouldn't have come like this without the Ai-enhanced noise reduction capabilities that are there now (the shadowed part of the houses has softened compared to the bright ones where you can see the individual bricks, but never mind). Practically now an M43 looks like a FF of a few years ago (handheld I mean, mode of the rest of 99.9% of my shots).
Greetings.

:-) Yes, in fact, reading ten thousand iso and seeing little or no noise, you could think of an input error..... AI docet :-)

No, no, all 10,000 were there, and the noise was there (but not so abstruse either).
Greetings.

The tonal contrast is beautiful, also due to the effect of the excellent shooting point that highlighted its beauty.
Always good.
Greetings
Danilo

Excellent Claudio.I have never been to Calcata but many have spoken very well of it. There are other PDRs in addition to the classic front?...

Thank you Kowalsky. Calcata does not have many PDRs to shoot it from the outside, but inside the country there is a flood of subjects and possibilities.
