Appena dopo il semaforo, si apre l'omonima piazza dove al centro troneggia il monumento a Giuseppe Verdi - lo si intravede in foto - che fa da introduzione alla quasi dirimpettaia Casa di Riposo per Musicisti (a sinistra della foto, ma non si vede) da egli voluta e dove è sepolto e che in vita ebbe a descrivere così: <<Delle mie opere, quella che mi piace di più è la Casa che ho fatto costruire a Milano per accogliervi i vecchi artisti di canto non favoriti dalla fortuna, o che non possedettero da giovani la virtù del risparmio. Poveri e cari compagni della mia vita!>>. Più avanti, si apre una delle nuove zone residenziali di Milano: CityLife, uno dei cui simboli é il grattacielo sullo sfondo, detto "lo Storto".
