In questo click d'agosto un ermellino con la sua preda, un'arvicola delle nevi, soggetti che si possono incontrare anche sulle prealpi vicentine però lo scatto l'ho fatto sulle Dolomiti di Sesto Pusteria ad una quota di circa 2400 metri sotto il sole cocente dell'anticiclone africano. Ero assieme a mia moglie, figlia e genero, Davide era al mare con la 7D. Ci fermammo per mangiare un panino all'ombra di un grande masso, dopo un iniziale casino nel mettere a terra gli zaini e altro ci fu un momento di silenzio ed in questo frangente alcuni soffi simili a quelli di una vipera destò la nostra attenzione. A circa quattro metri da noi due giovani ermellini ed un adulto, sicuramente la femmina, entravano e uscivano da un mare di anfratti alla velocità di un missile. L'adulto, in mezz'ora per quattro volte entrò nel cunicolo buio che sta di sfondo in questa immagine e per quattro volte uscì con un'arvicola tra i denti che poi dava in pasto ai suoi giovani, azione che purtroppo si è sempre intravista e mai bella, nitida , fotografabile. Ermellini in montagna ne ho visto, ma una bella esperienza così non l'avevo mai vissuta. La foto è quel che è, se stessi a guardare il pelo sull'uovo non pubblicherei nessun scatto....Un caloroso abbraccio a tutti voi. Ciao.
