Oh yes, they tanned it for the holidays! I agree with you and with those who preceded me: to monitor the movements of wild animals there are less invasive methods and equipment. Good at catching the look between the disconsolate and the perplexed of this unfortunate chamois. Greetings,
Leopoldo

Now: considering that they also exist, (the necessary selective culling), and' went half well - however, ok the study and monitoring x the study and preservation of the species, but is poor beast, I do not envy it just ....

Unfortunately, to protect, sometimes, forcing is necessary.
Beautiful shot that also has documentary value.

I agree with LM, Gaet, Jooferr etc.
Will that study be so indispensable? The only certainty is seen in a wild animal "glued" (and perhaps angry) with a mammoth radio collar. On the other hand, we are trying to do the same thing with mankind through a mobile phone social control (mine I threw it away and I live better).
I like the photo but not the "poor" subject.
A cordial greeting.
Paul

Poor thing, but it reminds me of some guys I saw as a child in my neighborhood...

It will be a study of considerable importance to have to reduce this poor chamois to a kind of walking Christmas tree... :-(
On the other hand, they are trying to do the same thing with mankind...
this is also true unfortunately... :-/
Photography, however, is beautiful and expressive, always good Giovanni and Davide.
Greetings.

Poor chamois, the study is fine but who knows if those tools are not a disturbance for the animal, I hope not ... congratulations for the photo / document, a greeting.

The recovery is beautiful, the chamois makes me feel sorry, despite the clarification of Elleemme.
I agree with Nadia about the possible discomfort of the animal.
Congratulations, however, for the beautiful and sad photo-document.

Greetings Elizabeth

But poor little one, it seems to me really exaggerated to tan so a chamois even if for good.
A nice photo document that makes you think
Congratulations
